Mega Pokemon were introduced back in 2014 with the introduction of the XY Era. Mega Pokemon cards were a much higher rarity tier than the typical full art pulls. As the XY era boxes get more scarce and surge in value, the original Mega Pokemon cards become more and more desirable.

Each box contains a PSA 10 Mega Pokemon card from the XY era ranging from 2014-2017. Pokemon just recreated the new versions of Mega Pokemon starting in September of 2025, paying homage to the original Mega Pokemon cards. This era is scheduled to last until early 2028. As these new sets get more popular, the original Mega Pokemon cards will likely become much more desirable and valued as well.
